About Jet ~ Kelpie X Labrador (on trial 17/3/19)
We have a beautiful nearly 4 year old male Kelpie X Labrador dude named Jet. This boy is a sweet young thing, very gentle, very timid, but very keen to please, so much so, that he has been trained to stay on a mat when indoors. This clever babe also knows how to sit, shake your hand, lay down and rollover and will also drop the ball for you when playing fetch, which he loves to play. We actually think he should be renamed the amazing Jet!
Jet is living with two Labradors and he is going very well, learning from them and trusting new people based on their reactions. Based on this, we feel Jet would be best with an older docile dog and of course, a forever home with someone prepared to give him further training. Jet has learnt to use the doggy door and is going well with his house training.
Jet loves to snuggle next to his foster mum on the lounge at night, watching tv, a totally new trick for him and one he is enjoying immensely.
Jet is a quiet unassuming gentle boy, who being a kelpie may try and herd, not that we have seen but who knows. So, just in case, maybe no kids or cats.
Please remember Dog Rescue Newcastle will, as always, require secure fencing to keep this boy safe.
For more information or to meet Jet, please contact his foster carer Anne on anne4drn@gmail.com Jet is in foster care in Singleton, NSW and is not available for adoption interstate. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Jet's adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
