About Calypso 💛
This adorable little girl will melt your heart ❤️️ Calypso is in foster care with a younger pup, and 1 host dog, both of which she gets along great with. Calypso is your typical active, playful pup. She loves to explore everything in the garden and play with her toys and furry friends. She has shown no food aggression or dominance with other dogs during her time in care and has a beautiful, friendly yet mischievious nature!
Calypso is being socialised with older children on a daily basis and is learning basic commands. She is currently being crate trained and toilet trained in her foster home and with ongoing training in her new home, Calypso will grow up to be a loyal, well mannered young girl. We believe that she would be best suited to a home with another dog and/or the company of her humans.
We are looking for a family or person who is willing to put in the time and effort with training and socialisation for Calypso. Someone who understands the needs of both a Mastiff and a Staffy, who has experience with these breeds and is looking for a medium to large dog would be ideal. She will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that she grows up to be a well mannered and socialised girl. She is a beautiful natured puppy, and given the right environment we are sure that she will grow up to be an extremely loyal, well mannered family member.
We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Calypso is located in Berkeley Vale, on the Central Coast, NSW. Her vet work will be complete on Wednesday 30th January and will be ready to head off to her forever home shortly after.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
