On Hold
About Charlie ~ 4 month old kitten (on trial 19/2/19)
Charlie is the sweetest 4 month old (approximately) kitten who is looking for a new home hopefully with another friendly cat to play with.
Charlie was dumped with his sister and found himself in a country pound. Luckily DRN was able to help and he is now in foster care. He is living with his new found cat friend and two medium size dogs which he isn’t real sure of but is starting to realise they won’t hurt him.
It is obvious that Charlie had been around people as he is very friendly and looks for lots of love and attention. He will seek you out in the house and want a pat. He is still very much a kitten and loves to play, his favourite toy is a cat tunnel and feather teaser.
Charlie sleeps on the bed with his foster parents and will not disturb you through the night. He quietly gets up to have a drink and will come back to bed which is pretty good for such a young fellow.
Charlie loves playing with his foster family’s cat so they would really like him to go to a home with another cat to play with. He would cope with a dog but tends to stay clear of them.
As Charlie is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
If you are interested in meeting Charlie, please contact Sharron by emailing sstudley3@bigpond.com or texting 0423 331057. He is located in Merewether Heights NSW.
Charlie's adoption fee is $250 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.
Medical notes
Happy and healthy kitten

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
