About Skye ~ Mastiff X Ridgeback (on trial 3/2/19)
Skye is an adventurous, 8 week old, Ridgeback X Mastiff puppy, ready to take on the World and make your heart soar!
Skye is named after the lovable female Paw Patrol character, she also has incredible sky-blue eyes that inspired her name and will melt your heart.
When she is not sleeping, Skye loves exploring the yard with her sister, playing with some chew toys and generally being her adorable self.
Skye will need a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate as she would be too lonely on her own. It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time.
Skye needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
She is living with two children under 5 and loves their attention. Skye is doing very well in her early stages of toilet training.
Like all puppies, she will thrive with continued love and training. She will grow to be a medium-large dog. She is currently approximately 4kg at 8 weeks of age.
As Skye is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Singleton, Central Coast and Port Stephens areas because she'll need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when she is approximately 5 months old.
Skye’s siblings are also in Dog Rescue Newcastle care.
For more information or to meet Skye, please contact her foster carer, Susie, by email to dog.rescue.enquiry@gmail.com Skye is in Rankin Park, NSW. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Skye's adoption fee is $550 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, microchipping and her worming is up to date.
