About Brinkley ~ GSP X Bull Arab (on trial 5/2/2019)
I was just saying to myself this morning, “Brinkley” I said, “Brinkley, you know what you need? You need a family all your own”, so I sat down to write this post. Actually, if I’m being completely honest, my foster parents are helping me. I haven’t been to puppy preschool yet, so while I’m definitely a bit of a talker, my typing skills need work.
I’m a 9 week old German Shorthaired Pointer X Bull Arab, and while naps might be at the very top of my puppy activity list, I’m looking for an active family with another dog so I have a mate to play with and learn from. My favourite play toys are stuffed animals and ropes at the moment, but I also enjoy hiding behind things and playing hide and seek, and of course I’ll take belly scratches any time I can get them.
I LOVE to be with my family, so I’ll need to be welcome inside. I will also need a yard with good fencing with no small gaps, rural fencing (mesh or wire) would not be suitable for me. I’m going to be a big boy and will need to be safe and secure when I’m outside enjoying some playtime. I’m one smart cookie, so investing in training will give you an incredibly well trained and socialised pup. I’m a good natured, loving dreamer, but I have the potential to be a bit wanderlust and also prey driven due to my nature. Initial caution should be taken with pocket pets (I don’t know if I trust myself with them or not yet).
We puppies are definitely cute, but we are also incredibly hard work in our baby phase of life. The dog you end up with is a direct result of the amount of time, energy, and patient persistence you put into training, socialistion, and most importantly love. Puppy preschool is a must for me, and I need to go to a forever family that understands while I’m knock your socks off adorable, I am a puppy learning my way in this great big world, and that means there’s training and work to be done. I’ll be the best forever friend you could ever have, I just need that family all my own that’s ready for all this puppy love!
If you are saying to yourself, “self, you know what you need? You need your very own Brinkley hunk o' puppy to love, cuddle and teach to be a superpup”, then what are you waiting for?! I promise, I’m fabulous, dahling. So click the link and send an application to my foster parents already!
My brothers, Marley and Murphy are also available for adoption, pass it on.
