Perfect hobby farm dog Isla! Cat Friendly!

Poor Isla has been with us so long :( She's had meet and greets but is always rejected, as even though she adores people and has grown up with cats, she prefers to have nothing to do with dogs and most people want her to be able to work on that.

Well we've been working on it for 18mnths and have come to the conclusion that she just needs a home where she won't have to deal with dogs, as opposed to trying to train her into liking them. She'd love a hobby farm where she can get involved in the management of a small number of animals, as a herding breed she's without a 'job' in a normal residential home and this is one job she's be dayum good at! As she's a miniature of her breed she appears tiny for a working dog, but in temperament she's all that! Smart, loyal, movement focused, and easy to train; she'd absolutely love to learn herding, whether for the fun of it or to actually herd a small flock. Followed by a cuddle on dad's lap or a snooze on a warm bed inside.

Isla loves people, games, and bonds deeply with her caregiver. She's fantastic in the car, crate trained, and inside trained. When her foster carer is out she just snoozes happily on the couch. Her ideal family will be on land and not bothered about taking her out where she may encounter other dogs, will include her in family life and allow her inside when suitable, and show her the love she wants so desperately wants to give to her forever family <3
