About Elaine (now Lainee)
Do you like to garden? Do you like to explore? Do you like to cuddle a puppy and rub a belly for HOURS? Then I'm the gal for you.
My name is Elaine and you may just be my new family.
I am a sweet, kind loving soul with a BIG personality and heart just bursting from my tiny body. I love to spend my day gardening, playing with twigs, following you around and of course, interrupting all day what my foster parents are doing so that I get a belly rub.
Because I am small, I fit comfortably laying in your arms like a baby while you rub my belly ahhh is there anything sweeter. It's important to know I can be a little nervous in new situations but with a little encouragement I adjust really well and once I feel comfortable, watch out, I will be into everything.
I have lived with small dogs, medium dogs and even a dog the size of a horse - well that's how it looked to me. I loved them all, I also love humans - both the big and small variety.
My personality is big so my foster mumma says I will need to go to puppy school so that I can how to be the best girl I can be - as if I'm not already perfect. Either way it sounds like a really fun thing we can do together.
So, if you think you could be my family, then drop an email and I will definitely consider you.
**Application Process** When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Campbellfield. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you. www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ...because they all deserve one!
