Hi, my name is Gracie! I LOVE my humans, especially my foster dad. If I could follow him everywhere I would. I am happy to sit in the shed whilst you work, or chill out in the garden. I love to play fetch but I tend to not like giving it up easily!
I love the beach and going for walks. I would prefer to spend most of the day with my humans. I would much prefer someone who is home often. I may be a older girl but I still have the capacity of a puppy.. Nothing bothers me, other dogs even when they are barking at me I don't even notice or care. I'm good with kids but as I'm an older girl I enjoy older kids most.
Overall, I'm a human dog. Take me in the car. I LOVE it. Take me to the park. Take me to bunnings. I don't care just take me..
Medical notes
Gracie recently went for a general health check and the vets found a 2cm lump on her neck. It was removed with a large margin and the vets sent it away for further testing. It was revealed that Gracie has a low grade MCT (Mast Cell Tumour). Further information about Gracie can be supplied upon request.
Gracie has had the following vetwork completed:
~ Desexed
~ C5 Vaccinated
~ Microchipped
~ Heartworm Tested
~ Heartworm Treated
~ All-Wormed
~ Flea Treated
Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
