About Wellington
Wonderful Wellington! (Welly for short).
What a little trooper – injured at only 8 weeks of age and had major surgery, he has now spent 6 weeks of his short life in a crate and still he PURRS and PURRS and PURRS. His foster carer says there are times when she can feel his PURR vibrate across the room. You only need to move toward the crate and it starts Welly’s purr-motor.
Welly is an endearing kitten who loves people; he just wants to be held and PURR. Inside his crate he has played, as best he has been able and we are sure that once he has his freedom, during the next week, he will run amok and not want to stop playing. We can’t wait to see it.
We see Welly’s forever home being with people wanting to share time with him and ideally with another playful cat. We are sure Welly will be dog friendly as he has had one very interested doggy friend, together with some cat friends, that have played footsy with him through his crate walls. Anything to stop the boredom!
Welly is a gorgeous boy and is likely to steal your heart.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
