Bruno ~ Mastiff X Ridgeback (on trial 3/2/2019)

Bruno is an 8 week old, French Mastiff X Ridgeback puppy. He is active and loving and will make some family or person a great dog. Bruno is the most gorgeous colour of Champagne and still has baby blue eyes!

Bruno is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. He has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. He's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.

Bruno will grow up to be a medium dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training (from a Delta Instructor or Positive Trainer).

Bruno will need a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate as he would be too lonely on his own. It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time. As with all puppies he will need three feeds a day at first and gentle training to fit into his family.

Bruno needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

Bruno will be wonderful family dog. All puppies need to be monitored by the adult in charge and not left alone with children. If you are prepared to teach your children to respect and handle a puppy gently this breed is great for children but as with all puppies they bite and the bites hurt! A home with older children who can understand this is preferable.

Bruno's siblings George and Pepper are also available for adoption.

As Bruno is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
