No matter how cool this Kelpie Cross is, he will surely melt your heart with the warmth of his love.

At approx 18 months old, Silsbury is super keen to explore the world and absolutely loves a good cuddle and human affection. Possibly cross with a heeler, he naturally has an abundant amount of energy that keeps him curious, and seeking adventure and fun.

Not much is known about his former life before foster care but it appears that perhaps it may have had little structure - however he is happily learning his manners and some rules and boundaries very quickly in foster care.
He is doing well with his basic obedience, leash skills and recall. He travels excellently in the car and has shown to be well toilet trained and crate trained.

He is very active, so ensuring this boy gets enough physical and mental stimulation as he grows will be essential in preventing boredom and the development of any destructive behaviours. He gets on amazingly with his canine foster sister, an older lab, and would do well in a home with another active dog to play with, snuggle with and run around with. Unfortunately Silsbury is not suitable to a home with felines; he doesn't quite understand them and can often scare them with his approach.

Due to his adventurous streak he would need a home with secure and safe fencing that's 5ft and over. Whilst he is still learning how to play with humans he can sometimes be a little playfully nippy so would also be best suited to a home with older children until training is better established.
When the day is done and it's time for a rest, this boy will reward you with an abundance of snuggles. Curled up on your lap is clearly his favorite place. His low shedding coat makes this a comfy cuddle for both of you.

With plenty of exercise, continued training and socialisation he will surely settle in to his new life in no time at all and be an extremely loyal lifelong mate.
