Indi and Lilly are a bonded pair. These 9 year old girls love the company of each other and will make any house a home.
These girls have overcome their fears, and are not longer stressed. They are now eager to jump up on your lap for a cuddle.
They love children and would be perfect family dogs.
Indi the black mini terrier is the friendliest dog. She is a lap dog extraordinaire and wants to spend her day snuggled next to you on the couch. She loves belly rubs and pats. Eats her food well. No nipping or issues. She’s gentle with children and likes dogs and isn’t phased by cats. She will follow you around and loves to sleep in your bed if you left her. She is crate trained.
She cowers if you raise a hand suddenly. She’s eager to please and loves being part of the pack.
Lily is a beautiful girl. She will cower away from sudden movements. She eats her food well and loves her buddy Indi.
She is intrigued by cats and likes to try and get their attention, but their foster cat sister lets her know who’s boss. She is also crate trained

Location: Our dogs are in family foster care in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
All of our dogs are desexed, vaccinated, micro chipped and heart worm treated. There are no exceptions.

Adoption Process
If you should choose to adopt a dog from SEQ K9 Rescue Inc:
You will be asked to complete an Online Adoption Application.
Completing this form helps us to determine if the dog you are applying for will fit your family. Some dogs have special needs so we may be looking for a specific forever home.
After you have completed the Online Adoption Application, we will have the information to determine if you are a good match for the dog you are applying for. Sometimes we may recommend another dog we have in our care.
Next, we will arrange for you to meet the dog/puppy.
We ask that you bring along your children and your dog to the meet. A yard check (or yard photos) will be checked and only then will approval be considered.
Please remember sometimes there are several applications for the same dog so this process may take up to a week.
If your application is approved, now is the time to invest in a dog harness, led, bedding and toys.
All adoption fees must be cleared before our dogs can be collected from our carers. Our carers are not allowed to accept cash. Bank deposit/transfers only.
We also offer a 2 week trial period - if your new family member is not settling please contact SEQ K9 Rescue Inc via email immediately. We are happy to assist with training or advise if the dog has not settled.
If for any reason the dog needs to be returned to the rescue organisation, the adoption fee minus a $50 non-refundable deposit will be refunded to you. Your refund will be returned via bank transfer within 10 working days.
If the dog is returned after the trial period generally no refund will be made.
Interstate adoptions may be requested to supply additional information and photographs of the proposed environment for the dog. Interstate adopter must pay transport costs in addition to the adoption fee.
If the dog is to return from an interstate adoption, the adopter is to pay all costs to return the animal to SEQ K9 Rescue Inc in Brisbane.
All dogs deserve a forever home.
