About Jake
JAKE
We’d like you to meet Jake, who is a Very Handsome Husky and Very Good Boy. We saved Jake from a country poundand he is now looking for his furever family and we know he’s going to find the perfect home in no time, because he’s just such a darn good dog.
How do we know? His carer has said this: ‘He’s the most perfect boy anyone could ask for.’
So let’s find out more about Jake! A stunning black and white boy with chocolate brown eyes, Jake is 2.7 years of age and has a whole lifetime to love to give.
He’s happy, friendly, affectionate, and loves dogs and people alike. He’d love to find a home with an active family and a doggie mate, as he’s very energetic and loves to play.
Jake a true zest for life and loves his walks, wants to say hello to everyone he sees, and will certainly tell you if he wants to say hello to someone! He loves his toys, playing tug of war, sits for treats, loves belly rubs and is always happy to see you. He’ll also wait for his food, and has excellent manners.
He loves to be inside with his people, will follow you around the house, totally thinks he’s a lap dog and if you stop patting him before he’s ready for you to stop, he’ll paw you to ask for more rubs. He’s a good listener, gives quality smooches, loves the beach and loves a bath after a long walk or hot day.
Jake’s also really good and hasn’t been caught digging at all, and hasn’t tried to see what’s on the other side of the fence either. He’s also toilet trained and knows to ask to be let out if he needs to go.
Does Jake sound like the perfect fit for you? Then send in an application! He’d love to meet you.
The usual husky rules apply, including no cats or pocket pets, and a secure back yard. While Jake hasn’t been digging or jumping during his time at Homes for Huskies, we still recommend he’s kept safe and secure. Please no small dogs, as Jake is still young and doesn’t entirely know his own strength.
