About Reba
Sweet Sweet Reba has been in our care since January.
Dumped at a Brisbane pound with a litter of pups on Xmas Eve.
Pound re-homed pups and we took Reba into our rescue.
She was with a foster carer that had a male wolfhound and they loved each other.
She spent a couple of months there.
We moved her closer to HQ with a chi male who she loves as well.
We have been taking her to obedience training for the last couple of months, and she is doing so well.
Reba is very much a people dog, and bonds extremely well to people she knows and loves.
She needs a home where she is allowed to be inside and on the lounge next to you.
Another fur friend would be good.
But if someone wanted her to be a only dog, she needs to be part of your world.
Reba will not cope on her own all day.
She loves playing fetch and will do this for hours if you let her.
We need a person or family that understands Staffies or in general dog language.
Reba has been to many unleash dog parks and has coped really well with other dogs, but she gets a little fear reactive if they get in her personal space occasionally.
Her carers are very intuitive to understanding a situation that Reba wouldn’t be comfortable with and avoids any potential interactions that will scare Reba.
This girl has never been able to be a puppy so she is showing lots of puppy traits, and learning not to get to rough and tumble.
We don’t want a owner that has the mentality that ‘she’ll be right’ when it comes to Reba’s socialisation.
We have worked really hard to get Reba to were she is and this girl deserves the best life ever!!
We do not want to set her up to fail, as she has become a huge part of our rescue and team.
Everyone that meets Reba falls inlove with her.
We know her perfect family is out there...
We are in no rush to find a ‘ok’ home!
We want a an AMAZING home for this girl.

Adoption details
We shortlist families who will fit the dogs needs and contact them to arrange an introduction. If everything works well, after a timeout to be sure, an adoption agreement is completed. As the adoption donation is transferred the dog will pass into your hands.
Our Adoption Donation Fees vary. Elderly animals or animals with health problems can differ from those for young or purebred dogs.
All our dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. They are bathed and groomed, and have had a consultation with our vet who discusses appropriate treatment which we arrange while the dog is in our care. All dogs are desexed at our expense.
We understand that in the first week, issues occasionally occur where training or behaviour modification is impractical and if no other recourse is available and the dog needs to be rehomed, we will agree to refund part of the adoption fee less $100 administration fee. Due to our system processes this will not be instantaneous but will go into your bank account within the next 10 working days.
After the sixth day, we require first refusal if the dog is to be found a different home, but you will not be eligible for a refund.
