About Dusty
Dusty is one of the sweetest boys you could ever meet.
He is affectionate, gentle with small dogs and afraid of the feisty cat in his foster home. Dusty is just a two year old boy who had it quite rough before coming into our care. He did not make it on the race track and lacked speed and prey drive. The people who bought him to race then decided to make him into a fighting or bait dog but he was luckily never forced to fight or used as bait. Lucky Dusty!
He is quite small for a greyhound boy and his black coat is absolutely stunning.
Dusty currently lives in foster care with a Boston Terrier and a confident cat but is also really good friends with a Jack Russell who comes to visit frequently. He seems to like Jack Russells in general and has always been fond of them when he met one.
Dusty is happy with a 20 minute walk every day and does not pull on leash. He enjoys spending the rest of his day snoozing on the couch or bed and would suit a family who works full time but has another dog at home.
Dusty has been in foster with a confident cat however when we introduced him to two more cats, he chased both. We don't think he should live with a cat in the home, but would absolutely love to share his forever home with a canine friend.
He would not be okay to be left home alone for long hours.
Dusty is looking for a foster home until his forever home comes along. Please inquire if you would like to give him a foster home.
