About Andy ~ Mastiff X Ridgeback (on trial 25/1/19)
Andy is a 7 week old Ridgeback X French Mastiff puppy. She is fun loving puppy who loves to be around you and explore the backyard when she isn’t sleeping. Andy loves playing with her toys and enjoys sneaking up on her brother and sister to “attack” them. She also enjoys a snuggle with her foster mum.
Andy will grow up to be a large dog. We always recommend puppy training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Andy would love to go to a home with another dog, particularly if her new family work full time. She has been well socialised with other puppies and loves to hang out with other dogs.
Andy will need to be welcomed inside when people are home, and allowed to be involved in his family’s life. She will be a wonderful family dog. You will need good fencing with no small gaps, unfortunately rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire) is not suitable.
As Andy is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Singleton, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when she is approximately 5 months old.
Andy’s brother Hugo and sister Maggie are also in foster care.
For more information or to meet Andy, please contact her foster carer Samantha on samantha.cassel@hotmail.com Andy is in Newcastle area, NSW (Lake Macquarie, near Newcastle).
Andy's adoption fee is $550 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
