About Cash 2067 & Mr Jones 2068
Cash and Mr Jones are a gorgeous senior pair who are looking for a home where they can stay together. Mr Jones is an 11yo Min. Schnauzer, and Cash is a 12yo Toy Poodle.
Both Cash and Mr Jones are good with cats, will happily ignore guinea pigs, and they like other calm dogs.
They are looking for a quiet home without young kids or boisterous dogs; being older gents, they’re best with teens and adults who can handle them gently. They are indoor dogs and find comfort in being close to their favourite people.
As Cash’s sight and hearing aren’t what they used to be, he seems to rely on Mr Jones to be his eyes and ears. He doesn’t like loud banging, but if you speak up, he can just hear you. They are housetrained and can use a doggy door, but may have the occasional accident so you will need to be patient.
They enjoy going for short walks or visiting the local park, taking their time for a good sniff around. Cash loves to curl up on your lap or nearby; he’s happy to hang out while you watch tv, or work on the computer. He likes to sleep on your bed, but at 2.5kg, he promises not take up too much room!
Even though Mr Jones is more than double Cash’s size, he is very gentle and kind with him, they make a great team. He loves food but doesn’t mind sharing it with his little mate. He does need to work on keeping his weight down though, as he is quite passionate about eating. He also loves tummy rubs and naps.

Adoption details
ADOPTION:
1. Email DFLadoption@gmail.com to contact our Adoption Team & we will send you an expression of interest form to return
2. Successful applicants will then have a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer, along with a volunteer home visit & fence check, before beginning a trial period with the dog to ensure a great match for all involved.
DFL dogs are vaccinated, micro chipped & desexed prior to adoption (or at 6 months as a condition of adoption).
FOSTER:
If a dog is listed as "Foster Carer Needed", they are looking for a temporary home in Perth metro while their vet work is completed and while they wait for their forever home. They may also be fostered with the view to adoption. Please email us for more information.

2. Foster care applicants will then have a volunteer home visit & fence check, and a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer/rescue representative, before commencing foster care.
