About Scruff
What a gorgeous boy is Scruff! An Irish Wolfhound born on 1st December, 2015, Scruff is looking forward to finding his forever home.
Scruff enjoys being out for a walk exploring the world and although he can pull lightly on lead in his excitement when first heading out, he soon settles and has lovely lead manners. To help with his continued training, we have included 3 x free training lessons in his adoption fee with thanks to Wyong Dog Training.
He enjoys meeting new friends and as Scruff gets along great with other dogs, both big and small, he would be a great hit at the local dog park. Testing has shown that he is not bothered by cats and pocket pets and with a proper introduction could be rehomed with cats and/or pocket pets in residence.
Scruff loves to meet new people, but can at times jump up to say hi. He is never aggressive and always full of love, but care should be taken around young children as he could accidentally knock them over.
He has already mastered "sit" when asked and with his love of food, should make further training a breeze.
Scruff shows no signs of food aggression or seperation anxiety and although he does not seem bothered by loud noises, we would recommend that he be allowed inside during thunderstorms and fireworks where he knows he is safe.
Scruff has the most beautiful personality and is an absolute joy to have in your company. He adjusts to new environments very well.
Scruff is an absolute sweetheart and would make a super loyal companion for a lucky family. He is a stunning boy who would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and is involved in the day to day activities. Scruff will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
This incredibly beautiful young man will make a loyal companion and wonderful addition to a lucky family.
Scruff's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Scruff is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
