Upon arrival Clodagh marched out of her travel crate and jumped onto the first toy she found and did not stop playing for about an hour and only when the food arrived. (So much for a cat being shy and needing to check out their new accommodation!) After she had eaten, she jumped into her foster carer’s lap for a wash up and cuddle, with a loud and contented purr.
She is happy, confident, playful, cuddly and fun, as well as, very beautiful.
Clodagh has proven to be an independent miss and indeed her foster carer calls her Missy Clodagh! Although she loves to play with her foster siblings, she is also very content to wander off on her own, to investigate her surroundings or to lay, catching sunbeams in the window. When she is happy to do so, she generously shares her food bowl and other times there is a big growl to say, “hey, that’s mine”.
She knows who the boss is and has no qualms in walking straight up to one of her doggie friends and depending on the moment, she will either give them a big smooch or give them a smack of her paw, just to make sure they know their place.
Missy Clodagh is an entertaining character who will keep her adopter smiling and intrigued by her antics.

We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

Unfortunately we usually will not have time to reply to enquiries in more detail and will give priority to completed applications over enquiries. Priority will also be given to typed applications which are easier for us to read and to copy relevant parts.
