About Tuxie
My names Tuxie and I'm a sweet gal who loves to just laze around and spend my days chirping at the hoomans to tell them it's time for food!
I'm generally a pretty relaxed cat, usually spending most of my days snoozing away and laying around. I have previously lived with other cats and may mesh well into a multi cat household given that I am introduced appropriately and slowly.
The humans here tell me I'm a pretty special cat and I've been diagnosed with some condition called Carerbellar disease, apparently I have quite a unique walk because of this but the staff still tell me how adorable I am every single day.
Cerebellar disease is characterised by a high stepping uncoordinated gait affecting the forelimbs and tremoring. It is a neurological condition caused by disease within the brain.
At the present time, these are the only detectable clinical signs. It is possible that it can become progressive, where my overall condition can deteriorate and he cause of this condition has not been identified so my new forever family will need to be very understanding of this. I promise though I will make you laugh with my funny walk and bring so much joy to your family with my amazing character! I'm hoping someone will want to take a chance on me, I would really love a new home to relax into. I will need to be an indoor only kitty as I don't really have the capabilities to run away from any danger.
