About Dolly
Dolly is a big girl with a heart of gold. Dolly is currently in foster care and Dolly adores her carer. Dolly is often inside (supervised) and is fully house trained. Dolly currently resides with a cat and they get along well (once again supervised) . Dolly is also good with children but preferably slightly older ones aged 5 and up as Dolly doesn’t realise how large she is and has the potential to knock little ones over . Dolly has lived with other dogs in the past and would be ok with an older laid back dog but Dolly definitely doesn’t like dogs that jump on her . Dolly would also quite happily be an only dog. Dolly is a very obedient girl and very eager to please . She is good in the car and loves to snooze on the sofa . If you can offer this girl a loving home where she will truly be accepted as part of the family please get in touch . Dolly was surrendered through no fault of her own simply a change in the family situation Dolly was living in. We are looking for a home for Dolly whereby there has been some previous larger breed experience.
Adoption details
If you are interested in one of our animals please send an email to rescue@btcanimalshelter.com.au and we will reply as soon as possible.
A questionnaire will need to be completed which will allow us to ensure we are placing our animals into the right home. Once the completed questionnaire is received, we will respond by email / phone call to discuss the animal in further detail, and answer any other questions you may have. Please note that completing the questionnaire does not place you under any obligation to adopt. We can arrange a meet and greet for you (and existing pets) to spend some time with the pet and see if they are likely to fit into your life.
If you decide to adopt, payment is made and you can welcome your new pet into your life!
We offer a 2 week trial period.
