Merle

Merle is a Bull Arab x Great Dane who is a few months shy of 3 years old. He has been in foster care with other dogs and is fine around them. Merle loves children and has spent time around a 9 and 11 year old, and loves to lean on them, which is how a dog gives a cuddle. He behaves around cats but has not been tested around horses, chickens or livestock.

Merle has high energy and will need at least 1 walk a day. He understands how to walk on a lead and will improve with more practice. He came into foster care with no training so will benefit from formal training and people prepared to invest the time in helping him become the best dog he can be.

Merle’s favourite things to do are playing with a teddy and going for a walk. He also really loves cuddles on the couch (or wherever you are sitting). If we had to pick one favourite pastime…it would be hanging out with his humans. He has been fine left alone for 8-10 hours and is currently sleeping outside in a kennel.
