About Judy
Cute little Miss Judy is a character. Her carer says Judy is a lot of fun. She gives cues for when she wants attention and when she doesn't. She doesn't like her cage being cleaned and rearranges her furniture every time! She comes out to greet her foster carer when she walks in the room. Judy has dealt very well with a foster brother dog. She is very happy in her indoor pen, and is great at using her litter tray. When Judy doesn't have her head in her hay feeder, she loves nibbling on celery leaves, spinach and bok choy. After munching she generally stretches out for a long and peaceful nap. Like most bunnies, Judy doesn't like being picked up.
She'll need a patient home as, like most bunnies, she takes a little while to settle in and bond. And she's not suited to living with young children as she's afraid of them.
Want to know how to keep a bunny happy? Rabbits need a calm, stress free environment, so suit adult owners or gentle children. They like to spend most of their time with their Loved Ones, with just a bit of outside time if it's good weather. They don't cope well with heat, so when it's hot, keep them inside with the air conditioner on. A healthy rabbit diet includes good quality hay, vegetables, leafy greens, fruit, seeds, roots and herbs. They love it if you build playground tunnels with different levels to jump on, hide away and dig in, especially if you change it around from time to time. Sticks and bark are great to chew on. It's important for rabbits to have at least four hours a day to roam freely around the house or bunny secured yard.
JUDY CAN FLY TO PERTH!
A few hours flying is absolutely worth it for animals who are located remotely if it means they have the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to us about flying Judy to Perth for around $50 airfare.
