About Morter Boy
Mortor boy is a very special boy. His new home will be to someone who has an interest in meeting this special character. He’s very affectionate and intelligent.
He had a hard start to life being found on a building site with a nasty face and head injury. He was very lucky to survive and now thrive. This was in a very remote part of the NT and where he was cared for by a very special rescuer
Morter boy is calm, gentle, loves walks, going out in the car and will be in tune with his new owner.
He learned to walk on the lead like he’s been doing it forever and has learnt the other rules at his foster home very smoothly.
Morter boy has responded really well to his new environment which shows his true resilience and adaptability. He gets on well with other dogs of all shapes and sizes. When introduced to cats he showed no interest.
He likes to play with the dogs in foster care or find a place for a snooze. He does not need excessive exercise.
Morter boy has not spent much time with children but many of our dogs go to homes with children successfully, with the right supervision.
He has been thoroughly checked out by a vet and the concerns we had about his teeth due to his initial injury are not a problem. His teeth are good which is a huge relief and his general health is great too.
Morter Boy is about the size and shape of a kelpie but we never have any idea of the breed of the dogs we re-home. He is about 5yrs old.
We will consider rehoming dogs to apartments.
Morter Boy flew from Alice Springs to Sydney and is in foster care in Kingsford.
