About Mishka
Mishka and her siblings were surrendered to us by their owner after their cat had an unexpected litter. They have been raised in a home so are very friendly and love human attention. They are not at all shy, and having lived the past few weeks in the clinic, they are used to meeting new people, cats and dogs. They should adapt very quickly to their new homes.
Mishka loves people, and gets her purr going as soon as she receives attention! When staff arrive at the clinic in the morning, she is the first one up meowing loudly and purring for cuddles and pats. She is not shy, and would be happy going to a home with children and other pets. She is deaf, which doesn't hold her back at all. Being born deaf, she knows no other world, and it doesn't bother her in the slightest. It does however mean that she will need to be an indoor only cat, or with access to an outdoor enclosure to keep her safe, as she can not hear cars coming or dogs barking.
If you have any questions about Mishka, or about owning a deaf cat, please call us!
Medical notes
Mishka is deaf; however this requires no ongoing medical care.
