Marchanti is a truly special guy, not only is he strikingly handsome, he’s clever, funny and full of heart. It’s incredible how far this boy has come in his two weeks with us and he’s only going to get better. Already he walks well on a lead (see video), sits, enjoys riding in the car, sleeps through the night, is dog-friendly and is toilet trained. On top of all that he has a super soft coat and a big boofer head that’s great for patting - and don’t forget those tummy rubs! Marty will probably grow to about 20-22 kg and is a medium size dog.

Marty absolutely loves to play with our dog - check out the video of them sharing a chew treat and the one of them playing tug of war. His ideal family would include another doggy pal who loves to play rough and tumble, but who is also happy to snuggle down for a nap. Marty has met our cats through a baby gate and showed no signs of aggression, so we think with a slow introduction and the opportunity to learn boundaries he would be fine living with a confident cat.

Marty is still a puppy and he would love the opportunity to go to obedience training. He learns quickly and this would be a great way to build trust and develop a strong bond with a guy that’s clearly had a tough start to life. He can be wary of strange men and does spook easily; he also needs secure fencing because this boy can jump! Positive reinforcement builds Marty’s confidence and, as he is eager to please, it will help him make you happy.
