This handsome little one is one small package of huge personality. Full of fun, feist and fearlessness with the softest ears around! She is already showing signs of being the typical kelpie active dog, loves to play with anyone and especially her older (and much bigger) foster brother. She is quite vocal but settles well and easily into routines and is picking up toilet training very quickly. Like all pups, she is go, go, go while awake but collapses into a cute puppy coma at the end of a big play session and sleeps well. She is being crate trained currently and is responding well to this.

Evie would be best suited to a family where she will get a lot of stimulation and exercise. Like all working dog breeds, she is going to be quite an active dog and her inquisitiveness will likely turn to destruction if she is not provided with adequate stimulation and play things. She currently enjoys exploring the back yard but also enjoys toys and responds well to food. She seems to enjoy having other dogs around, but it is not essential that she go to a home with another doggy friend.

She will be a joy to train and is already sitting to eat and starting to get the idea of a drop. As with all puppies, Evie will need ongoing training and socialisation to ensure that she develops into a well-rounded companion. She is currently being socialised with older children in her foster home and enjoys playing with these smaller humans. Having said that, she also enjoys a (brief) snuggle on the couch with a willing snuggle buddy – just look out for those puppy teeth once she wakes up and wants to play again!
