Hello, I'm Aimee and this is my friend Puffin! (bonded pair). Although my life has been short, it hasn't been all butterflies and rainbows. Let me explain my story to you. I was brought into the shelter as a 5 week old kitten, scared and alone. I was very fearful and defensive around humans, they were very big and scary. I was placed in foster care with another litter of kittens so that I could have some friends, and they have since been adopted by lovely families. But I remained here. After a total of 5 weeks in foster care, the staff introduced me to a little kitten called Puffin. I love Puffin the best! He plays with me all the time, we sleep on top of each other and (most importantly) he gives me the confidence I need to trust people. I have improved in leaps and bounds, and I enjoy pats and chin scratches from people I know and trust. I do occasionally hiss at first, but please don't take offence to this. As you can imagine, I am in need of a special, cat experienced family who have the patience and understanding to continue my progress and help me on my journey to being an even more beautiful cat!
