Bertie

Meet Bertie! Bertie came to the shelter after being left behind when his owners moved house, not knowing why, Bertie is looking for his forever home! Bertie enjoys thorough chin scratches, a good brush, and following around his people! Bertie is easy-going and non-confrontational with other cats and has shown an interest in meeting them at the shelter. Due to his previous life being allowed to wander, Bertie has contracted FIV. Because of this, he can only go to a home with another FIV positive feline friendly cat, or be an only feline. He will need to be indoors only or have access to a cat run, not that he would mind! He is likely to bond quite closely to his new owners, and is looking for a home without young boisterous children, though sensible kids over 10 years should be just fine. He has shown little interest in toys at the shelter, but we suspect that he will become much more confident when allowed to settle into his new home!
