About Beemo
Beemo is such a sweet big girl. She loves a good cuddle and has always been very comfortable around other pets (cats and dogs). Beemo was rescued from a Western Sydney pound at around 4 weeks of age. When she was 9 months old she was diagnosed with a cataract in her right eye. The specialist vet said that it was not causing her any pain however to avoid developing glaucoma the eye could be removed, given the risks of anaesthetic and surgery, this was not done and she is now 5 years old and has not developed glaucoma. She appears very unaffected by the cataract and is checked yearly by the vet to ensure nothing has changed. She is a very happy girl who does enjoy the presence of her friend Dax. Beemo was an indoor bunny for the first 4 years of her life however has been a free range outdoor bunny for about a year new. She used to be litter trained but has since untrained herself given her new circumstance, but should adjust quickly back to indoor house bunny life!
