About Lily
Single dog home until my new owners have leadership skills with me and have taken me to obedience school.
Lily’s owners will be having the final say on who adopts Lily.
H my name is Lily, I have pedigree papers but sadly I need a new home because I don’t get along with my litter sister, the breeder didn’t tell my owners that litter siblings more than often don’t get along, so now my owners and their children who I love are all heart broken. SRV said this isn’t the first time they’ve had dogs surrendered because of this reason, it’s a bad breeder that would sell someone 2 pups from the same litter. My DOB is 7th Nov 2016 so now you have my birthday you can bake me a cake to celebrate if you like.
I’m house trained, crate trained, good with children and have lived with twins who are 8 years old and who I will miss very much. I have even lived with a cat but I would still need to get used to a new cat if there’s one in my new home so you would need to do a proper introduction. I’m OK with other dogs when I walk down the street and at a park, I don’t get let off leash at a park just in case I don’t listen to my recall. I need to go to obedience school with my new owners so they can learn all my commands.
I’m full of energy and jump like a Mexican jumping bean when I get excited. I would be an ideal candidate for agility if my obedience can improve.
I can’t eat chicken because I have a reaction to it, I’m extremely loving to family, friends and strangers once invited inside my home, I loves cuddles.
I need to be in a single dog home until my new owners have leadership skills with me and have taken me to obedience school.
I have been to Moorabbin Obedience and if you know Dolly it’s where her dad teaches & where Dolly dog attends. I got to Pink 2 which is sit drop and stay and walk in front of dog by 2 m and call back with lead on ground, left and right about turns etc. I was not good at drop stays and would keep breaking before the required time frame but if my new owners continue to take me to school I promise I will learn how to do that for you, I would really like to go back to Moorabbin Obedience but that might not be possible unless my new owners live near by.
So I know the commands, Sit, Drop, Stay, Come, Outside, Where’s mumma? No play.
Below are some lovely words from my family.
We are all truly heartsick to have to surrender this gorgeous girl. We want to ensure she goes to a truly loving family who will take great care of her. Our kids would love to receive the occasional photo, or email about her and how she is doing. Having to surrender her has really upset them (and us). If we could keep her, we would.
Lily is a truly loving and gorgeous 2 year old Staffy who just wants to love and be loved. She is playful, fun loving and adores her family.
So if you think you can offer me a good forever home where you’ll be able to give me all the above in return I will give you all the love and loyalty you could ask for!
