Oreo

Hi everyone my name is Oreo. I am a Shih Tzu with rather long lovely legs so we suspect that I may be a mix. I have a non shedding coat so will need regular clipping and brushing. I am a very sweet little boy who rarely barks and is housetrained.
I like going for walks and am eager to ride in the car to explore new places with you. I travel well in the car and quietly take it all in.  I walk well on lead and have been working on recall. I sit for treats and dinner and also shake paws as a true gentlemen does. I have lovely table manners and do not beg for food.
I like playing with toys and entertain myself if you are a little busy at home.
I love my people more than anything so I will follow you everywhere and like to cuddle on the couch with you but this also means I can be anxious when you leave me alone.  With this in mind I am suited to a family who works from home or are home full time. I need a very secure yard as I will dig under the fence to find you. I'm not a big fan of thunderstorms or fireworks they're a bit scary so please be willing to keep me safe.
I don't mind cats and can share their space happily. I would like another little doggy pal - same size or smaller is best - to run and play with as I once lived with another little dog.
