About Nitro ~ 8 year old Staffy (on trial 7/3/19)
Nitro is an 8 year old staffy with a beautiful, placid nature. He is a clever boy who knows all his commands including sit, shake, wait, down, roll over, speak and even kiss! Nitro is a very obedient boy who is toilet trained, good on and off the lead on walks although he does show some lead aggression.
He loves his toys in particular his Kong and he loves playing ball at the park although it is a mission trying to get the ball back off him!
Nitro is generally good with other dogs but it would need to be a submissive dog and as he is getting older, he does not care to have young puppies around. He would be better as an only pet as he prefers to be around humans than other animals. He is good around children although he can get over excited with his toys.
Nitro is not specific about his human company, as long as there is a human present or close by, he is a happy, relaxed and loving dog. Nitro loves travelling in the car so he would be a is a great companion for someone that is home most of the time or could take him to work or out and about during the day.
Nitro would need to be an inside dog as that’s what he is used to. He will happily sleep on his own bed although he does love night time cuddles if allowed.
Nitro has the most beautiful nature and is looking for a forever home in a family that will love and spoil him for the rest of his days

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
