About Dasher
Hello my name is Dasher.
My sister, brother and I came to Peggy's all the way from Tamworth - we are country kitties! đ
Even though I am the biggest in the litter I am the most cautious. However I am very happy to follow my little sister where ever she leads and get into equal share of the mischief. Once I am comfortable in my surroundings I am very adventurous and outgoing. My perfect family would take time to let me get used to a new home and give me LOTS of cuddles so I settle in even better!!
My favourite thing to do is eat!!! I love food - all kinds. I also have LOTS of energy and spend a large portion of my day playing,so my forever home would need to give me toys and attention otherwise I might get into mischief.
I have been around big cats and a BIG dog as well as rabbits and I get along with everyone but I am a little scared of the dog - he is HUGE!! So if my new family has a dog sibling for me it might take a little time for me to get used to them but if I can see them from a high space I relax pretty quickly. As I am little I would need to be monitored when meeting and with new fur family members.
My foster parents think I would do best in a home with fur siblings or someone home most of the time.
I am an indoor only cat so my future family would need to take this into consideration before meeting me.
I am ready and excited to find my new home so contact Peggys to meet me and while you do come meet my sister Vixen we would love to be adopted together!
Adoption details
-You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the dog of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos our your home please also including photos of your fencing
-A Meet and Greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a Yard check to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - We understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
-Payment of the Adoption fee in full. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
-Once the 14-day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted, and the adoption is officially finalised.
For interstate adoptions- Adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting we will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport cost including flights will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
