About Bear ~ 1 year old Shih Tzu x (on trial 25/2/19)
Introducing Bear, a 1 year old Shih Tzu X. He is a chilled out dude and a character who loves to play. This babe is always on the move and just loves kids. He would really benefit with a family with kids.
Bear is a family man, he likes to keep a close eye on everyone, wanting to know where everyone is and that they are all ok.
Bear gets on well with cats and with other dogs after a good introduction.
Bear is looking for an active family to match his enthusiasm for life, fun and walks. He guards his home and will warn you of strangers in or near his yard. Bear would benefit from further training. And as usual, Dog Rescue Newcastle will be looking for a home with a secure yard.
For more information or to meet Bear, please contact his foster carer Trish on trishkdrn@hotmail.com Bear is in foster care in Muswellbrook, NSW and is not available for adoption interstate. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Bear's adoption fee is $600 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
