About Millie ~ Bull xCatahoula X Dane (on trial 19/1/19)
Hi, my name is Miss Millie. When I grow up, I am going to be one of those dogs that has the absolute Wow Factor! I am a 6 month old Bull Arab X Catahoula X Great Dane … so yes, I am going to be a big girl - and when you take me on my daily walk everyone will want to stop and say hello to me and pat me because I am so beautiful and stunning.
I am still very much a puppy so everything is an adventure and I just want to play. I love people and I love other dogs too, so I would really love a doggy or human brother or sister that can keep me active and occupied. Because I am still a puppy you can probably expect me to chew things, yes, puppies do chew things. They pull the stuffing out of stuffed toys and teddy bears, you can probably expect me to chew my toys until they break - so it's best if I have a good supply of toys. I will run around and kick up my heels but could well dig a couple of holes in all the excitement. At these times, please don’t be angry with me - it is a puppy thing and puppies will be puppies.
So far I do know just a couple of basic obedience training things like knowing how to sit and lay down, but I’m still trying to learn how to come when called if there are other dogs around that have my attention. Because I have so much energy, and because I will grow up to be a big girl, you will definitely have to take me to puppy school and training to make sure that I learn all of the good behaviours. Please don’t just leave me to try to work it out myself because I am not sure that I can without you there to train me every day and teach me new things to help me grow into a good girl that everyone will want to admire.
When I was little (a couple of months ago), I kind of broke my leg when a car didn’t see me. My foster carer and the vet have looked after me so well that I am back running around again - just like new! While I was recovering, I wasn’t allowed to run around and play, so I am making up for it at the moment, but should settle down a bit soon.
So for my wish list. If you are an active family, and have another dog that is well behaved that I can copy - would be good. If I could have some big kids to play with (maybe not tiny ones that I might accidentally knock over with my excitement). If you can send me to puppy school and training, then dedicate time to teach me how to be a good doggie and do lots of tricks in a kind and positive way, that will strengthen our bond. If you promise to take me for lots of walks and runs on the beach; and be kind and loving to me and give me a beautiful, safe, loving home - I am your Gal and I will grow into an amazing dog that will look after you forever!
I am not a real barker, so won’t upset the neighbours and I can be an only child if you work, but please give me your attention and do lots of active stuff with me when you are not at work. I will be your best buddy, or if you have kids, I will be their best buddy while we grow up and we can do everything together. I am crate trained, so I can hold it, but so far haven’t had the chance to learn to be house trained - I am however a very quick learner and will be trying to please you all of the time, so it won’t take long. And then I will be excited to sleep inside without the crate.
I will bring you lots of joy and happiness. I am a happy girl and will be there with a big smile to greet you every time I see you. When we go out, because I am happy and have been trained, I will be so well behaved and you will be very proud of me. PS: I would also like my own social media page.
