About Butters
Butters is a lovely, friendly boy who has faced death once and if a permanent home for him can't be found, he maybe facing the same fate again. Butters led a normal life in his former home - he was an inside/outside cat and somewhere along the way he contracted FIV (feline Immunodeficiency Virus) from an altercation with another cat. Once his owner found out, that was it...and up to the vet they went for Butters to be euthanased. Physically, Butters is as "fit as a fiddle", and more than likely will stay that way for many years, and he loves life and is getting used to being an indoors only cat. He cannot go outside unattended in case he meets another roaming male cat. His foster carer calls him "a genuine sweetheart".
