About Comet
This handsome little man will melt your heart ❤️️ Comet is in foster care with his sibling Rudolph, and 1 host dog. Both of which he gets along great with. Comet is your typical active, playful pup. He loves to explore everything in the garden and play with his toys and furry friends. He has shown no food aggression or dominance with other dogs during his time in care and has a beautiful, friendly yet mischievious nature!
Comet is being socialised with older children on a daily basis and is learning basic commands. He will sit on command and crate trained at night. Comet is also doing well with toilet training and follows commands beautifully. With ongoing training in his new home, Comet will grow up to be a loyal, well mannered young man. We believe that he would be best suited to a home with another dog and/or the company of his humans.
We are looking for a family or person who is willing to put in the time and effort with training and socialisation for Comet. Someone who understands the needs of both a Mastiff and working dogs would be ideal. He will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that he grows up to be a well mannered and socialised boy. We believe that Comet will be a medium to large dog when fully grown. He is a beautiful natured puppy, and given the right environment we are sure that he will grow up to be an extremely loyal, well mannered family member.
We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Comet is located in Berkeley Vale, on the Central Coast, NSW. His vet work will be complete on Wednesday 16th January and will be ready to head off to his forever home shortly after.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
