ABOUT
Sweet Emerald came from a horrible hording situation and was surrendered to a rural pound with multiple other cats from the same household. She gave birth to a litter of 5 a few days after arriving at the pound, and made her way to BFF soon after.
Emerald was pretty scared and timid on arrival, and very protective of her young family. Over time she learnt to trust her foster carer and showed her beautiful soft side.
Once her babies were weaned and she didn’t have to “protect” her babies anymore, Emeralds true personality emerged, and we now have a gorgeous smoochy, chatty girl who loves a headbop. She is still scared of new people, but her perfect family would be prepared to give it a little time for her to learn to trust them, and they would then have a wonderful fur kid on their hands!
Early testing with other cats has shown Emerald to be a tad “cranky” towards other felines, however no aggression has been shown, so in time she may be fine with one or two other fur siblings, however I know she would also be more than happy to be a solo diva!
Emerald has had a horrid past and deserves a future nothing short of perfect, and is seeking a human with patience and love to give her that. If you would like to meet Emerald, please email inquiriesbff@gmail.com
