About Wags
Hey! You looking for a 4-legged best mate?
Are you looking for a blokey dog, one that’s happy to hang with you in the shed while your working on your car or just chillin’ out? One who loves to jump in the ute and head off for a drive with his head out the window? One you can take camping and doesn’t complain about not having a clean bandanna to wear or a plush bed to sleep on? If that sounds like your type of mate Wags is waiting for you!
Wags is a typical puppy at 19 weeks of age. A Wolfy/Bully/Cattle dog mix was born into care when his mum who was deaf and heavily pregnant at the time was rescued from the pound, but unlike Mum, Wags has perfect hearing.
He’s affectionate and clever and though he can be shy at first in new surroundings he soon warms up to go exploring. Wags is a smart, happy pup and loves to play and engage with other dogs and people.
Wags will happily follow you around but if you're being boring or you need your own space, that’s fine too he will find somewhere to chill out.
Wags is highly food motivated and loves attention, he’s interested in toys, but food wins every time. It’s what has motivated him to learn the basics with Sit, Drop, Touch and has progressed to learning a few tricks like Shake and Roll Over. He’ll be bringing you the morning paper in no time.
Wags is interested in cats but only through the screen door and he is untested with pocket pets but heck he is still just a pup and there are so many new things to experience and learn, he just needs the right best mate to show him the ropes.
So, come on what are you waiting for? Wags can already smell the adventures the two of you are going to have together.
Will be desexed at 6 months.
Adoption details
Hear No Evil's Adoption process:
1st Step * You contact us to obtain an adoption application, and discuss the dog of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability.
2nd Step * A Meet and Greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and and current dogs is arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a Yard check to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - We understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
3rd Step *Payment of the Adoption fee in full. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records.
Transport arrangements are the financial responsibility of the Adopting party. Hear No Evil are happy to assist with departure preparations and ensuring the dog makes its transport connection.
Final step * Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted, and the adoption is officially finalised.
