About Queenie
Queenie is a beautiful, affectionate, loving, active at times, 12kg, 4 year old who lives for pats & cuddles on the couch. Queenie is quirky, fun & makes me laugh every day. Queenie has a wonderful sense of humour & is learning how to read human behavior more & more each day. It's possible that Queenie is a Murray River Retriever/cross who does shed some hair, but not much...Queenie's initial shyness and apprehensive nature (as an ex breeder), has faded over the past 6 months into a more confident & curious personality who thrives on outings & meeting new people. Queenie has come a long way during her time in foster care, fitting in well with other doggies in the household, often comforting & 'mothering' any scared new foster doggies that come along. It is preferrable Queenie not be left alone for long periods & would be ideal if she has another doggie to keep her company if she is. Queenie is used to sleeping beside the bed (in an elevated bed) (& sometimes sneaks over).. It is imperative Queenie is able to sleep in close proximity in her new forever home & be shown she is truely part of the family.
