About Guy Fawkes, the adorable Muppet
Guy Fawkes is looking for a suitable place to retire from street life. He would appreciate a dedicated attaché trained to provide endless pats, suitable company for snoozing, and a regular supply of tasty morsels.
He would also prefer it if said household would resist making fun of his missing teefs, croaky whisper, and permanently rumpled smoking jacket.
(We cant; he’s absolutely adorable!)
Permanently Rumpled. That really is our muppet to a tee. See the missing chunks in his ears, and the scars where the fur won’t grow? See the cigar stains on his paws and that curly belly fluff? I tell you, no amount of grooming will change the delightful bed-hair, I hate Mondays, rumpled mess that is Guy Fawkes.
Guy Fawkes battled long and hard to survive on the streets, and it took months of patience to catch him. Now that he’s caught, he has no interest in stepping out of doors again. FIV has cemented his place as an indoor cat and, so long as it remains this way, he has many years of healthy bed warming ahead.
We have watched his fear drop away, his fur grow back, and his energy return. His voice is coming back after years of disuse, as is his purr. We are now watching Guy Fawkes discover the joy of play. He is a fierce and funny little hunter, and whip smart. He’ll learn anything that suits his needs almost immediately. He is also a gentleman. He will not raid your bin or claim your kitchen bench.
If you prefer the leisurely pursuits, and you’re looking for a kindred spirit, Guy Fawkes is your muppet.
Medical notes
Guy Fawkes is a healthy FIV+ cat who is missing a few teeth. His diet will obviously reflect this, as will his need to be an indoor cat, where he is safe from pests and diseases outside.
