About Bob & Ronnie
Bob & Ronnie were street dogs in the local neighbourhood.
They did technically belong to a family but they all worked away from the family home at different times and the boys looked after themselves the best they could.
Which wasn't the best.
They were matted and poor old Ronnie had eyes that were fused shut from infection.
They have been in care for a couple of months, putting weight on and being part of a family.
Bob is Ronnies carer and looks after him all the time.
They are great with kids and cats and other dogs.
The boys are learning to be part of a family and enjoying the creature comforts of being inside.
These boys are ready to live the rest of their lives in a lovely home with someone that can dote on them.
Bob is 7 and Ronnie is around 11
Medical notes
Ronnie has dry eye and needs daily drops.
He is partially deaf.
They have both had dentals recently.
Adoption details
We shortlist families who will fit the dogs needs and contact them to arrange an introduction. If everything works well, after a timeout to be sure, an adoption agreement is completed. As the adoption donation is transferred the dog will pass into your hands.
Our Adoption Donation Fees vary. Elderly animals or animals with health problems can differ from those for young or purebred dogs.
All our dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. They are bathed and groomed, and have had a consultation with our vet who discusses appropriate treatment which we arrange while the dog is in our care. All dogs are desexed at our expense.
We understand that in the first week, issues occasionally occur where training or behaviour modification is impractical and if no other recourse is available and the dog needs to be rehomed, we will agree to refund part of the adoption fee less $100 administration fee. Due to our system processes this will not be instantaneous but will go into your bank account within the next 10 working days.
After the sixth day, we require first refusal if the dog is to be found a different home, but you will not be eligible for a refund.
