BIO: Willow is waiting for a family to call her own. She has outgrown the puppy stage and is keen to please.
Willow is a loyal and protective girl who will bark at people she doesn’t know until they are introduced and offer a treat.
Willow is crate trained and house trained and enjoys being around her people.
Willow can feel threatened by dominant dogs and would need some work and reassurance to be out in public where other dogs are.
Willow sees small dogs, cats and pocket pets as toys so would not suit a home with any of these.
Willow will jump when excited so older, confident children would be fine with supervision. She is very focussed on her people and making them happy.
Willow would be best suited to an indoor/outdoor home where she is a part of the family. She would happily sleep beside or at the foot of your bed making sure everyone is safe.

Location: Our dogs are in family foster care in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
All of our dogs are desexed, vaccinated, micro chipped and heart worm treated. There are no exceptions.

Adoption Process
If you should choose to adopt a dog from SEQ K9 Rescue Inc:
You will be asked to complete an Online Adoption Application.
Completing this form helps us to determine if the dog you are applying for will fit your family. Some dogs have special needs so we may be looking for a specific forever home.
After you have completed the Online Adoption Application, we will have the information to determine if you are a good match for the dog you are applying for. Sometimes we may recommend another dog we have in our care.
Next, we will arrange for you to meet the dog/puppy.
We ask that you bring along your children and your dog to the meet. A yard check (or yard photos) will be checked and only then will approval be considered.
Please remember sometimes there are several applications for the same dog so this process may take up to a week.
If your application is approved, now is the time to invest in a dog harness, led, bedding and toys.
All adoption fees must be cleared before our dogs can be collected from our carers. Our carers are not allowed to accept cash. Bank deposit/transfers only.
We also offer a 2 week trial period - if your new family member is not settling please contact SEQ K9 Rescue Inc via email immediately. We are happy to assist with training or advise if the dog has not settled.
If for any reason the dog needs to be returned to the rescue organisation, the adoption fee minus a $50 non-refundable deposit will be refunded to you. Your refund will be returned via bank transfer within 10 working days.
If the dog is returned after the trial period generally no refund will be made.
Interstate adoptions may be requested to supply additional information and photographs of the proposed environment for the dog. Interstate adopter must pay transport costs in addition to the adoption fee.
If the dog is to return from an interstate adoption, the adopter is to pay all costs to return the animal to SEQ K9 Rescue Inc in Brisbane.
