Beamish’s big brown eyes and lovable personality will melt your heart. He wakes his humans up bright and early every morning with BIG cuddles. He is an adventurer and loves to explore the big wide world. Playing catch is his favourite thing to do, just wait until you see how fast he can run! When he sees water he just wants to play, it cools him down at the end of a big day.

Beamish is loyal to a fault. He is protective of his humans and home, which can cause him to get a little anxious when new humans come into his space. Time, patience and a lot of treats are needed when introducing new humans to Beamish. Outside of his home Beamish loves exploring and meeting new humans. Beamish is crate trained which his is safe place to calm down and separate himself from the big scary world. Treats are a prerequisite when Beamish is meeting new humans - it is important Beamish continues to associated new meetings with a positive experience.

Beamish is not phased by most dogs and is generally too busy sniffing and exploring the big outside world to pay to close attention to what other doggies are doing, however, he would be best suited to being an only dog at home.
