Tank

Tank is just about the perfect dog. He has a stocky build but shortish legs like his mum, and weighs in at 30 kg. He is a gorgeous looking big boy in pristine condition. His nature is gentle, sweet and loving. He is a really lovely fellow and just so relaxing around the home. He is very friendly, loves people of all ages, and very trustworthy with kids. He is also extremely popular with other dogs, both male and female, and loves to have a little game of touch tag with them. He has perfect manners on the lead, but will walk along nicely off lead too and comes when he is called. We just love this stunning boy.

Tank comes to us from a couple who have been posted to a remote community where they feel the conditions would be too difficult for him. They feel that it would be better for him to have a home where he can have lots of freedom and get out and about. You don't often see a grown man cry but his dad did when he had to say goodbye to his big baby, who they have raised from a 6 week old puppy. We have promised to find the perfect home for this very deserving dog.

Tank would be great in a situation where he can be included in lots of activities. He has a moderate exercise requirement but loves outings. We think he would particularly like a café and beach scene! Of course lots of opportunities to meet and greet with people and dogs. This dog is bomb proof and would love family life and some kids to love him up.

Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Tank's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide.
