About Alice
Hiya, I’m Alice and I came into care a little while ago with one of my kittens. She has already found herself an amazing family and so I thought I’d better get a wriggle on and get my happily ever after too! 🙏
I’ve heard that I just need to write a little bit about myself so that people can see how much I have to offer - here goes! 📝
I am a sweet, quiet girl and it truly doesn’t take much to keep me happy and entertained. ☺️ I can lounge by your side or on your lap for hours, and even come when called. 👍 These are just some of the benefits of choosing a mature cat like me as opposed to one of those hyperactive kittens! Since I am such a dainty lady my foster carer was pretty surprised when the vet told her that I am nearly five years old; guess I just look good my age 😇
My favourite way to spend the day is lounging in the sun and snoozing. ☀️💤 I AM OBSESSED with back scratches and will meow and pull cute faces in appreciation if you give me one (though one is never enough!). They are definitely the best way to my heart. 🥰
I have flourished since being rescued; my coat is thicker and shinier and I have come out of my shy shell. I also travel well in the car. The camera really doesn’t do my vivid green eyes justice - humans are weird as I often hear people raving about them! 🤭
I love human company and have gotten more used to other felines during my time in foster care (though I am still the boss of the cat tower and everyone else knows it). However, at heart I am an independent girl. I would best suit someone with a laid-back lifestyle and would be ideal as an only cat. If you could be my perfect match please get in touch with the lovely team at OTC - I’ll be waiting! Love, A xx 💜
Adoption details
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the cats. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the cat at your home, or in a public place. If you have other animals they must be at the meet.
If at the meet, you and the cat get along- you have the option of either taking the cat on the spot (in exchange for the full adoption fee paid upfront, and contract signed)- or placing the cat on hold for up to 2 days without any holding fee applicable. When adoption begins you will be provided with 7 days' worth of food for the cat, as well as what brand and type of food it is, so that you may change their diet carefully and slowly, or purchase more, if needed.
*PLEASE NOTE we do not hold cats for 3 days or longer, without a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the cat, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters and so you may miss out. We have had to make the deposit non refundable to avoid time-wasters.
During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic in your area and OTC will cover any treatment needed.
On commencement of the trial period, OTC will send you a copy of your signed contract, the vaccination cards, desexing certificate and microchip number implant details.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox.
