About Panda
Panda is quite an interesting girl with a quirky personality. She can be quite timid initially but when she trusts her people she is your shadow and just wants to hang with you 24/7. Panda's favourite thing of all is snuggling on the lounge with her human! At only 15kg, she is perfect for cuddling! Some things scare her, eg lawn mowers, brooms, spray bottles etc, but she was fine with thunder (indoors) and is getting used to the noises in her foster home. Panda loves being indoors and is totally house trained and well behaved when sharing your home. She can occasionally collect things to take to her bed (eg shoes!) Some interactive toys would be great in her new home for her to play with. When you are out for a while she will stay in the backyard but is most happy when you are home and she can get ready for more cuddles!
Panda can jump quite high and so will need a well fenced, secure yard. She loves to go out for a daily walk and although fairly strong she is learning to walk well with the aid of a halti. She is pretty well behaved on her walks although will react to dogs passing by if they bark at her first. Panda does not seem to get along with other dogs and so will need to be the only dog in the household. She will walk by polite dogs nicely when on her daily walks but does not want to share her space with them. She is not suited to a home with cats or livestock. Panda has met children out and about and seems to like receiving pats from them. She can be a little timid of meeting new people when out in public but when people come to her place, she soon gets on well with any visitors. Panda is growing more responsive every day to her carer and loves to please.
Panda has a few little quirks to work on, but she is a loving and sweet girl who really deserves a great new home. If you think she might fit into your household, we would love to hear from you via our enquiry form.
