Rosie -Vaccinated and Desexed

Rosie was initially owned by a family that did not have time for her, and she was left in a small metal box in the sun during summer. The neighbour was often the only one to feed rosie, and on numerous times she was saved before she died from the heat. Eventually the owners "released" rosie, and when the kind neighbour caught her they did not want her back. So after a rather bad start to life, rosie has finally come into rescue where she will hopefully find her loving, forever home. Rosie has had a traumatic past, and as such needs an understanding adult home. Rosie is very friendly once she gets to know you, and will come up for head rubs and goes to sleep while her cheeks are scratched. She is not fond of being picked up, and a home willing to accept that is preferable. With other rabbits she is not aggressive, but scared and with time she should become more bunny-social. Update 15. 3. 10: rosie has settled in really well and has become very outgoing and friendly towards us. She comes running over for a treat and loves to get patted. She really needs to get used to a new environment before she feels comfortable around people. Rosie would preferably like to be rehomed where there is another rabbit, or adopted with another bunny from rescue. She is quite social, but needs a bunny that will not harrass her and be content with cuddles. She takes confidence from being around other bunnies, and is a very outgoing girl when she feels comfortable. *thank you jennifer w for your generous donation towards rosie's desexing!. *
