Sweet, Gentle Basil will just melt your heart

Just 10 weeks old he is an old soul in a squidgy puppy body.

Basil is in care with his brother and sister and it is very obvious he is the laid back dude of the litter.

Whilst he loves a wrestle and a play he is often found having a quiet moment on his own.

He is so smart and is the first to sit when told... he listens intently and is just the snuggliest little baby boy.

He gets on well with dogs and is unfazed by the cat.

He would enjoy a home with another dog but it would need to be a placid dog as he really is not a “full on “pup.

His gentle nature means he would be best suited to a calmer household... he would be great with children but we would prefer older ones for him.

His mum was a pure Labrador and we strongly suspect his dad was a blue cattle dog.

He is a very small pup for breed and we do not anticipate him to get bigger than cattle dog size.

Basil as with all pups would really benefit from puppy school and we would love his new family to commit to that.

Basil is ready for meets this weekend and will be ready for his forever home in the New Year

Basil’s adoption fee is $595 – he is vaccinated to date, microchipped, flea and worm treated and will be desexed at our rescue vet when he is old enough
